          Kite Type – The Xplore V3 AS is the lighter and more agile version of the Xplore V3. It is a 3-strut delta kite. This freeride kite is designed to make your life Easy. Easy jumping, Easy upwind, Easy relaunch, the kite requires minimal rider input to perform.

          Rider Level –  Very suitable for beginners, intermediate & advanced riders.
          Rider styles – Freeride, Learning & Progressing.

          FEATURES

          • FUSION FRAME

          • The 52 g/m2 canopy is sewn in a Fusion Frame to make the kite more durable.
          • 142 g/m2 Code155p Dacron (red in illustration) is used in the wingtips and TE.
          • 95 g/m2 Fusion canopy (gray in illustration) is used at LE and as intermediate layer in the TE.
          • Battens in the wingtips prevent canopy flutter in loops.
          At LE side the canopy is sewn to the Fusion frame which is further reinforced with an insignia tape before the canopy is sewn to the LE



          At Trailing Edge, the canopy is sewn to the Fusion frame which is then sewn to Dacron which is at the end reinforced with (first) single layer insignia and final 8mm with double layer insignia. 

          • The Ventum Smart (closing) Seam is unique. Using M18 thread (thicker than standard), each segment of the closing seam is seperately closed with 3cm overlap on both sides using the same holes. This method is more work but the result is that the main seam is double strength where the LE segments join, without adding more holes in the material.

            The industry standard method is to use M20 thread and sew tip to tip. On segment joints the thread is known to breaks sometimes and therefore a double seam is sewn behind the main seam. This does however not prevent the main thread from breaking, it just acts as a backup seam when the main seam breaks. 

          • The leading edge, struts and part of the fusion frame are made with Code155P Dacron 142 g/m2. Supplied by Challenge, US. The Dacron is cut by laser for unmatched precision.

            TRIPLE - X CANOPY 52 g/m2.

          • Supplied by Techfiber, Japan. Designed & manufactured in Japan. The double-sided coating results in longer lasting performance, manufactured with Toray High Tenacity Polyester Yarn. Contains a PFOA free water repellency layer. The canopy is cut by laser for unmatched precision.

            FUSION CANOPY 95 g/m2

            Supplied by Techfiber, Japan. Designed & manufactured in Japan, manufactured with Toray High Tenacity Polyester Yarn. Contains a PFOA free water repellency layer. The fusion canopy is cut by laser for unmatched precision. 

          • 80 MICRON TPU BLADDER

          Thickness of 80µm.Supplied by Covestro, Germany, made of a UV stabilized Ether based TPU. The bladder seals are HF welded, the bladder valves are HF welded using a German glue foil for consistent bonding and quality.

           MAX FLOW SINGLE INFLATION 

            • Inflate the kite in one shot by just using the Direct Connect Inflate. Less effort on inflating due to large diameter valves and tubes. Fast deflate when packaging.               


          SCUFF GUARDS
          • The scuff guards provide the optimal wear resistance on the most exposed areas of the kite.



                                                              WING TIP STORM DEFLATE

            • Allows packing the kite in one go. Avoids frontal sand blasts during packing. Keeps the “Direct Connect Inflate” free from sand.

          FRONT BRIDLE PULLEY

          • The pulley on the main front bridle provides extra depower. Gusts are better absorbed making your ride more comfortable. The dyneema bridle line over which the pulley runs has an extra line spliced inside to maintain a rounder shape reducing wear. The spliced in line is long enough to allow the bridle line to be turned around multiplying its lifetime.  The pulley is made of Nylon 6 with micro Teflon capsules for reduced friction.


           

          NFC BOOOMTAG

          The Xplore V2 has an integrated NFC tag which is programmed on the Booomtag platform.

          • WHAT ITS NOT ?
            • It is not a GPS tracker to find your stuff.
            • It is not a chip that collects data from you to sell to third parties.
            • It is not an electronic device that contains a battery.
          • WHAT IS IT THEN?
            • A NFC tag can be read with any modern smartphone.
            • Each tag has a unique identifier just like a serial number on the products.
            • In this case the tag is programmed for the Booomtag platform.
            • After scanning the tag you will see information regarding the product like, name, version plus, if you want, user defined information.
            • You can register your product for free on the Booomtag platform under your free account with all your other products that have the tag.
            • You first get privacy settings which you can adjust at any time.
          • WHAT DOES IT DO FOR YOU?
            • If your Ventum product gets stolen or lost, you can indicate this in your account. As of then the tag will not show the standard information but a clear message that the product is reported as lost with the action buttons you choose (call, sms, mail).
            • Others cannot get your name, number, or address by reading the tag. There are situations and professions where that may be preferred.
            • You can show ICE (in case or emergency) numbers when someone reads the tag.
            • You can show important medical information when someone reads the tag.
            • You can receive information regarding recalls or other safety information.
            • If you give permission, you will receive information about upcoming upgrades, replacement offers and maintenance advice.
          • WHAT DOES IT DO FOR VENTUM?
            • The tag gives each product a unique identification number which helps to identify affected products in case of manufacturing defects.
            • The tag allows us to stay in touch! Ventum does not send general newsletters by mail but with your Booomtag account you can register to receive information and offers related to your products and situation.



           STEERING LINE ADJUSTMENT


          • The Xplore backline bridle has two settings marked by a blue and red label.
          • The blue setting provides lower bar pressure and faster turning.
          • The red setting provides higher bar pressure and more feedback.





            LINE DEFLECTORS
          • Line deflectors reduce the chance of line wraps.




            SAFE CONNECT

          • Frontline pigtails end with knots.
          • Backline pigtails end with loops.
          • Left side pigtails are red.
          • Right side pigtails are blue.
